Chanterelle Wooden Earrings

Lightweight wooden earrings featuring my illustration of a Golden Chanterelle (Cantharellus cibarius). Match the beauty of nature with these artful and unique earrings!

My illustration showcases the distinct ridged undersides that run along and tapers down the stem of a large and mature chanterelle with wavy, irregular edges. Wonky and edible, these golden delights with their often yellow-orange funnel-like caps and sweet apricot scent are seen popping up around late summer here in Southern Appalachia, though late June - October in most of North America. Always do your research and know what to look out for when foraging!

THE CRAFT. From hand drawn art.

• Original illustrations printed onto responsibly sourced maple wood.
• Hand assembled in small batches using non-hypoallergenic high quality stainless steel hardware, including lever back attachments (as opposed to hooks) so the earrings will stay put and not poke you (i got chu). 
• Designed and crafted in the mountainous Southern Appalachian region of North Carolina.
