Pink Great White Trillium Wooden Earrings

Lightweight wooden earrings featuring my illustration of a pink, rose-colored Great White Trillium (Trillium grandiflorum). Match the beauty of nature with these sweet and dainty earrings!

As a part of the aging process, the plant produces anthocyanins, reddish-purple pigments, causing the color shift, from white to pink, and some maroon before withering. As a beautiful sight to see in reality, with blooms of white and pink, I decided to capture this faded trillium as an earring. 

This trillium is the biggest blooming and showiest trillium of all trillies (hence the ‘grandiflorum’). I find they are especially sweet and distinct due to the somewhat frilly, wavy edges on the petals - truly bright, all which I tried to capture in my illustration.

• Original illustrations printed onto responsibly sourced maple wood.
• Hand assembled in small batches using non-hypoallergenic high quality stainless steel hardware, including lever back attachments (as opposed to hooks) so the earrings will stay put and not poke you (i got chu). 
• Designed and crafted in the mountainous Southern Appalachian region of North Carolina.
